During my casual morning browse of the headlines I came across this article in The Guardian, while reading this I am appalled at pharmaceutical companies that are entrusted with knowledge of the chemicals that go into medications to place such a deadly substance in “slimming pills” and play on the current body image vulnerabilities of people. Also it brings to mind the question has body image preception become such a rising current issue that people are becoming more and more dependent on quick pro quo’s ?
